Business NBN Plans Melbourne
Business-grade NBN connections for Melbourne offices and serious home setups. Static IP, priority fault support, symmetric fibre on eligible addresses, and SLAs that leave consumer plans behind. Same plans available whether you run a 20-person office or a power-user home network. We are IT engineers, not just a telco, so we can actually come onsite if something breaks.
What's Included in a Business NBN Plan
Business-grade NBN connections with optional static IPv4 address, faster fault restoration (enhanced SLA), dedicated business support queue that skips the consumer phone tree, and fibre/FTTP service on addresses where it is available. Symmetric upload speeds on Enterprise Ethernet where viable. We handle address eligibility checks, order placement, router supply, onsite installation, VoIP integration, and cutover from your existing provider without downtime.

📞 Call 03 7033 2634 to sign upAn IT Company, Not Just a Telco
Most NBN providers are pure telcos, if something is wrong they send you in circles between your router, the NBN, and a Tier-1 help desk that reads a script. Dtech is different because we are an IT company first. When your internet drops, a Melbourne engineer comes onsite, checks whether it is your router, your cabling, or a real NBN line fault. If it is an internal issue we fix it on the spot. If it is an NBN Co fault we lodge the ticket with them directly and follow it through until their technician attends and the line is restored. One point of contact, no finger-pointing.

Business NBN Plan FAQs
Can I get a business NBN plan at a home address?
Yes. Carrier business plans are sold based on the service address, not what is registered at ASIC. If you work from home and need static IP, symmetric upload, or SLA, a business plan at your home address is fully supported.
How much more do business NBN plans cost vs residential?
Expect 30-80% more per month depending on speed tier, SLA, and static IP. For serious home setups (remote work, security cameras, streaming studios) the price difference usually pays back in one avoided downtime day.
Do I need an ABN to order a business NBN plan?
Preferred but not always required. Some carriers accept individual ABN-free orders at business plan pricing. We can advise based on your address and the carriers that service it.
Can you check what speed I can get at my address?
Yes. We run address checks against the NBN Co wholesale list and carrier availability tables. Most Melbourne addresses qualify for at least FTTN 100/40. FTTP and HFC can reach 1000/400 on eligible lines.
Do you supply a business router with the plan?
Yes. We configure Ubiquiti, Meraki, Cisco, or MikroTik routers based on your network needs, including VLAN segmentation, VPN, and QoS for VoIP phones.
How long does installation take?
Typical switch-over is 10-14 business days from order to active, subject to NBN Co appointment availability. We sequence the cutover so your old plan stays active until the new one is confirmed working.
Can I combine NBN with your VoIP business phones?
Yes. We size the NBN plan for your VoIP concurrent call load, configure QoS on the business router, and supply the VoIP desk phones or softphones as part of the same install.
What if my address only qualifies for slow NBN?
We check Opticomm, LBN, 5G fixed wireless, and Enterprise Ethernet alternatives. Often a non-NBN carrier gives a Melbourne address 250/100 or better where NBN Co only offers 50/20.
